Terms of service

The plain-English deal when you buy a website from Built For You Websites.

   What you're buying

   A custom website for your business, built from your public business details and anything you send us. You get the finished website file (index.html) to put on your own hosting. The price is a one-time fee, with no subscription.

2. 2

   You see it before you pay

   We send you a private preview first. You can ask for changes to wording, photos or hours before paying. If it still isn't right for you, you owe nothing.

   Domain and hosting

   Your web address (domain) and hosting are bought separately, in your own name, from GoDaddy or any provider you choose, and you pay them directly. We aren't responsible for their pricing, service or outages.

   Setup service ($199)

   If you choose "Set it up for me", we work inside your GoDaddy account using the access you give us. We upload your site, connect your web address and turn on the secure padlock, usually within two business days after you give us access. You can remove our access at any time.

   Refunds

   Because you approve your website before paying, the website fee isn't refundable once we've delivered your site file. If we can't complete the setup service for a reason on our side, we refund the $199 setup fee.

   Changes after delivery

   Small updates after launch are quoted separately. You're also free to have anyone you choose edit your site.

7. 7

   Who owns it

   Once you've paid, the website is yours to use, change and keep. You confirm you have the right to use any text, logos and photos you give us. We may show your site as an example of our work unless you ask us not to.

8. 8

   Limits

   We build your site with care, but we can't guarantee search rankings, sales or uninterrupted hosting. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us.
